Suzanne Janke received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas Tech University in 1994. Soon after her graduation, she worked as a Social Work intern for children with special needs through Green Chimney’s School in Brewster, New York. This experience sparked a lifelong passion for supporting those with developmental and emotional challenges. Upon moving to Indiana in 1995, Suzanne began providing services to adults with developmental disabilities by supporting individuals in day programming and community involvement. In 1998, Suzanne obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University. In addition to working with those who have developmental disabilities, she has also worked with adults, children, and families providing support in areas such as family mediation, child development, geriatrics and adoption. She was excited to return to her original passion of working with developmentally disabled individuals when she joined the Insights team in 2009. Suzanne finds inspiration in helping others in their journey to find excellence in themselves. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, jogging, traveling, and spending time with her family. |
